Christian Alexander

Combining creativity, passion and eighteen years of industry experience, Christian Alexander is an internationally renowned hairstylist and makeup artist whose philosophy exists in the creation of beauty and perfection. One of Australia’s most exceptional hair stylists, Christian Alexander began his career as an apprentice, where he later refined his skill set and techniques with the acclaimed Jacques Dessange in Paris. Inspired by art, fashion and music, Christian’s distinctive style has won him numerous awards and accolades from industry peers including Best Avant-Garde Hairdresser in Paris, and as a finalist for Australian Makeup Artist of the Year 2010, 2011 and 2012, with chief makeup artist for Chanel’s ‘Bombay’ collection his most memorable achievement.
With eighteen years of experience in hair styling, makeup artistry and freelancing for fashion and editorial in both Australia and Hong Kong, the natural progression was to open a salon, debuting his eponymous concept in 2013. Since the inception of his salon, Christian has established himself within the fashion and beauty industry featuring in esteemed international publications including Harper’s BAZAAR India, ELLE and Vogue China, Estetica Italy as well as Australia’s InStyle and The Journal. Christian’s beautiful blow-dry styling techniques have been favoured by celebrities around the world including Jennifer Hawkins, Megan Gale, Megan Washington, Jennifer Saunders, Chrissy Amphlett, Kate Miller-Heidke & Princess Zara Phillips.
